Forged from Swedish carbon steel, this knife features a polished scorched hickory handle and a forged stainless ferrule. Diffrerentially hardened, very light and tough. This knife particularly excels at slicing and chopping vegetables, but performs other kitchen task without hesitation. Try it on a fresh baguette — you’ll never use your bread knife again! 8-inch blade.
Please note: All blades are hand-forged, resulting in a final product that is unique and unrepeatable with some variation from the photo. Your knife will look similar and meet the specifications described here. Please allow 2 – 3 weeks for forging and delivery.

This is a very beautiful and rustic looking knife. I love the natural look and feel of wood and metal without any additions of fake plastic/resin/fiberglass junk in the handle and without writing on the blade. This is something that looks like it could have been passed down through generations and can be passed down forever. It is sharp and easy to handle. I would love it a bit shorter but most will love this length. Working with Arnon was a pleasure. He always kept me up to date as to the process and was helpful with suggestions. He is a true artist and I highly recommend his knives.
