Arnon is a blacksmith who specializes in making knives in the style of classical Japanese hand-forged knives. Heavily influenced by Japanese design and sensibilities, Arnon prefers to leave the forge marks on his knives, creating beautiful, natural patterns where the hammer had shaped the hot steel. These marks are also a testimony that the blades were truly hand-forged, one at a time. He also stamps each knife with a chrysanthemum, a very Japanese symbol, as a nod to his many years spent in Japan.
