Open Forge at Bridgetown Forge
Bridgetown’s Open Forge is offered on a monthly membership basis, with two sessions a month from, 5:30 to 8:30p.m.
Bridgetown Forge is happy to offer Open Forge! Students with previous class experience can work on their own projects in the smithy, practicing their craft, and forging elements, tools, and utensils of their choosing.
Students will have access to a whole slew of professional smithing equipment, their own anvil and work station, a constant access to a forge, and any hand tool they might need for their project. If we don’t have a tool you need, we’ll make it on the spot.
Membership is $150/month, which includes two 3-hour sessions with full use of the forge, all safety equipment and fuel, and an unlimited amount of mild steel. A nominal fee will be charged for the use of high-carbon or tool steel, should your project require it. I encourage you to discuss your project with me, to ensure maximum efficiency, access to all needed tooling, and to avoid undertaking projects beyond the scope of time and space available.

APRIL MEMBERSHIP: Thursday, April 4 and 18, 2024
MAY MEMBERSHIP: Thursday, May 9 and 23, 2024
